Most report of findings are provided in the exam or treatment rooms where charts and x-ray view boxes are readily available. However, when a more personal consultation is desired we offer warm, quiet and very private accommodations. It is here we provide advice about your condition. But, we also lend an empathetic ear when you just need someone who is impartial, objective and safe to talk to, about anything. When you come to the office you are greeted by one of our friendly staff. You will be asked to fill out some basic forms. These will give us information that allows us to tailor our services to your specific requirements. While you fill out the information you can relax in our comfortable, warm surroundings.

Our common rooms have our credentials displayed for your examination. There is a wide selection of health-related brochures and magazines. However, you probably won't get a chance to look at them. We schedule so that your wait time is 10 minutes or less. Next, you will be taken to an examination/treatment room. Here the doctor will take a case history, in which you will provide information on how your symptoms originated.

You will tell us what makes it worse or better, the medicines you have taken and whether they had helped. After all the necessary data has been collected you will be examined. When a diagnosis is made you will be given a "report of findings." That is you will be told what your condition is and what treatment is appropriate for you.

During your report of findings you will be shown your x-rays or MRI films, if any. In this way you can visualize the often confusing terminology or "medicaleze" that is used to describe what is happening. If x-rays or MRI's are not available we will use brochures and books to help you understand the underlying problem. We love teaching and we have a lot of patience. Ask as many questions as you want. In fact, make up a list at home and bring them with you. You can e-mail or fax them to us so we can have the information you need ready for you. Remember, we are here for you...not the other way around.

At Professional Chiropractic Associates you will have access to the most up-to-date therapeutic equipment. Some of these include ultrasound, electrical muscle/nerve stimulation, moist heat and ice, traction, paraffin bath, diathermy, and rehab. Of course, spinal manipulation is our premier treatment and is what makes us special  in the health care marketplace.

There are times when you are not completely sure is you even want to undertake chiropractic treatment and you certainly do not want to go thru an examination before finding out. We offer no charge consultations. Here, you can speak frankly with the doctor in absolute confidence. Often, we will be able to give you information and instill the confidence you need to make an informed decision.
